A broken stud agreement has changed the status of this litter.
We are very sad to report that some serious matters have come up between the dam's owner and ourselves, and we will be updating as soon as we know more.

Our Farm
Here are some pictures of our farm. Our pugs have alot of room to run ,which is why we referr to them as free range farm pugs. There are always several pugs at my side, however because we live off a busy gated road we are very consciensious about where our pugs are at all times. Thus we have an indoor/outdoor kennel, and covered play area, with heated beds..for summer time.No pugs ever sleep out side...All of our pugs sleep comfortably indoors in our 500sq ft heated office/pug room,as well as our house. We also have a huge indoor out door heated large yard/runs for winter time here.We have always rotated our pugs inside with us,so that they all get the attention that they need and deserve. AS ADVISED BY OUR VET~Our policy on visitors has changed ..We are now much more careful about having outside visitors while the puppies are under 8 weeks .We have decided for the benefit and welfare of our puppy kids that while we have young puppies we would rather not have visitors until they are past eight weeks of age and have had thier first set of shots.Their health and welfare are a priority to us and we need to be very careful as their are many kinds of deadly germs and parasite which can be brought from your shoes ,& clothes onto our property and into our house which could seriously affect our pugs and thier pups...This was a hard decision to come to because we do love to have visitors as everyone knows, but we felt that it was the right decision for the time being...Thank you everyone for understanding

Butters has been adopted.....
This is Little Butter Ball, also known as Butters named after the apricot buttery fawn hue to his fur.He is a very sweet little guy with a heart of gold.He loves children and other pugs as well...We purchased Butters as a possibility for our colored breeding program from an AKC breeder who claimed that he was white. And he proved not to be.He also came with a herniated belly button so we responsibly chose not to use him in our breeding program. He is available to an approved pet home. After meeting with several families we chose,or I should say Butters chose his new family, we just listened to him.....CONGRATULATIONS to Sally, and Polly who are two very special and wonderful people,we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Butters will have the best home, and life with them....We beleive Nothing is by accident....

Halo and Pearly's litter are all Adopted...
Halo and Pearly's litter of puppy kids went to their new homes..All except a very special girl that was given as a gift to our family from Heike..We can't help but feel that this little girl represents all that is wonderful and good in the world, and she will forever remind us of the love that Vincent had for this special breed. We will keep evryone posted with pictures of her ,as well as the special name we ordain her with.So stay tuned....Below are some pictures of the puppies and mom and dad,as well as some pictures of the wonderful family that help bring this litter into the world and nurture and love them to thier current age of eight weeks...We chose Heike and her son Vincent to help us carry on the these wonderful lines from our AKC white pug Molly Mae, and they both took thier role as loving responsible breeders seriously... Vincent's very important role asside from being a student and working as a cook was to be very hands on and raise well adjusted healthy pug puppies...Unfortunately Hieke's son Vincent had a tragic accident on September 16,2006 and lost his life.... so he could not be here to see these puppies into the world along side his mom Heike, and to help raise and place the little pug kids who were his pride and joy...So we stepped in to help Hieke and see that these wonderful pug kids go to very special adoptive homes...

Molly is our AKC white pug she is a wonderful,& gorgeous pug as well as a great mother. Our goal in the near future is to breed her with another high quality AKC white pug so that she will produce quality white offspring .She and Sterling(one of our silver/grey males) just had thier first litter together August 18th 2006.Sterling is easy going and a very stoic pug with the most beautiful salt and pepper ~silver/grey coat that I have seen on a pug.We just wanted to share a bit of info on these particular pug because they happen to be some of the proud pug parents this year at Funny Farm Pugs.

AKC White Pugs
Please meet Funny Farm's AKC white pugs. The color white is not only recognized and registered as such, but was also one of the original colors introduced into the pug breed by the original Chinese influence on the breed as documented in several older books on the origin of the pug as well as some of the recent books written on the pug breed. The white pugs are absolutely beautiful to look at and have fur as soft as feathers..White pugs are not a very common occurance as they have been allowed to be bred out by those who prefer the fawn and the black, and are hard to come by as the show breeders frown on anything that does not meet the standard in the show ring. But when isolated and bred properly the white gene comes out just as expected.I know of only one other reputable AKC breeder who properly breeds for the color white.White pugs may be recognized by the AKC but are not recognized in the show ring as of yet.If we take a look back we will remember that not to terribly long ago black pugs were also frowned apon by the show community and are now as beloved as the fawns. We absolutely love this color and are doing our best to breed quality into white pugs.We take our responsibility as reputable breeders very seriously and our goal like any of the colors we breed weather they are standard or not is to improve and always breed better quality with each breeding...

More PUGS OF COLOR out there.
This album is dedicated to ALL other AKC pug owners who have "PUGS OF COLOR"all over the world.Yes there are more pugs of color out in the world,& YES Pugs originally came in a variety of colors such as these, and then thru the years the certain breeders have systematically CULLED the colors down to the PREFERRED black and fawn,as they ONLY want these two colors to represent the pug standard. But low and behold these pugs rear their head with out notice because these colors are in the original genes of the PUG breed.

Morris has been Adopted!!!
Part of my life mission is to help any pug that is in need.So I also donate my time to helping others rehome there pugs if need be...Please meet Morris he is in need of a pug friendly home with a family who will be dedicated to giving him the kind of love and attention he requires as a pug, from my examination of Morris he may require a teeth cleaning as well as a health check up. He is 2 1/2 years old and he has a slight underbite and a tounge that is genetically to long from poor breeding, but it does not apear to bother him, and he seems eat fine with this defect.Charlene is the current owner and she aquired Morris through her daughter in law who was unable to keep him as they moved ,and had a new baby come on board.Unfortunately Charlene works long hours, about ten hours per day and feels that Morris is left alone far to long.So she has decided that Morris would have a better life with a family that is around more often. She brought Morris over to meet us last week and I found him to be a very sweet ,and easy going pug.He was very friendly with our pugs.So I also feel that Morris would do good with another dog in the household.Charlene only wants the best for this little pug who has been moved around and needs some stubility in his life.If you think Morris might be a good fit for your family please contact Charleen Williams at
